The Team: Joan Pagliocca, CPA
Joan Pagliocca, CPA has fourteen years of experience in public accounting. Joan has been an associate with Ryter & Company, P.C. since September of 1996. In addition to her involvement in various accounting and tax engagements, she has been responsible for implementing and monitoring Ryter & Company procedures, policies and systems, enabling her to develop hands on practical experience in everyday business operations. She has also assisted several clients in the implementation of their own accounting systems, policies and procedures.
Prior to joining Ryter & Company, P.C., Ms. Pagliocca was a supervisor at the largest regional firm in New England, where she was employed for three years and was responsible for all phases of audit, review, tax and consulting engagements. In addition, she managed and supervised staff during engagements which varied in size and complexity. Joan possesses significant knowledge of the audit and accounting procedures of privately held companies and non-profit organizations. Joan’s abilities include strong communication and problem solving skills as well as the ability to consult with clients in identifying and resolving accounting issues and opportunities. Joan's strengths are in client service and teaching and training client's internal accounting staffs.
Prior to joining that firm, Joan was employed at a small regional firm for three years upon her graduation from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, where she earned her B.S. degree in management with a concentration in accounting.
Joan is the Treasurer of the West End House Boys & Girls Club of Allston and Brighton, Mass.
Ms. Pagliocca is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
