Stuart is the most recent addition to the Ryter & Company, P.C. team. He brings with him over two decades of experience in public accounting firms, ranging from large regional firms to small local firms. He recently served a long stint as tax manager in the bustling Boston office of one of the city's top 25 CPA firms. Although taxes may be considered his specialty, Stuart has also experienced challenges our clients face in his roles as part-time controller for several local firms in the architectural and engineering industries.

Stuart possesses extensive computer skills which complement his tax and accounting knowledge. His background includes successful consulting engagements in support of sophisticated accounting and project management software. Stuart is ready and able to assist our clients manage and maintain their accounting systems, from off-the-shelf products such as Quickbooks to today's latest Internet-based packages.

Stuart is a two-time graduate of Bentley College, where he received a BS in Accountancy and an MS in Taxation. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, the Massachusetts Society of CPA's and serves on the "Finance Wizards" committee at the Boston Society of Architects.

Stuart lives in Swampscott with his wife and two children. He is an avid photographer and enjoys hiking in local woodlands once tax season is over.
